Inlays and Accents:
Countertops can be routed to accommodate inlays of  Karadon®accent strips. A contrasting strip can be accommodated within a butt joint using the same adhesive and method as is used for any joint between two panels. Using the routing method, such contrasting materials as wood, brass, tile, acrylics, etc., can also be used. More intricate decorative devices such as logos are also quite feasible.

Assembly, Adhesives:
Adhesives of the same material as Karadon® create an invisible bond giving the finished installation a monolithic appearance. The nature of Karadon® solid surfacing material means that the same tools can be used for both wood and Karadon®. Fabricators can cut, rout, drill, laminate and finish Karadon® to meet the most demanding specifications. Karadon® factory finish is flat matte. If desired, it can be brought to a low, medium or high polish by buffing with prescribed polishing compounds.
